'Don’t Spread Misleading Stories,' Says Wriddhiman Saha After Testing Covid-19 Positive For Second Time
The good news for the wicket-keeper batsman is that he has recovered from fever, body ache and cough and has no visible Covid-19 symptoms now.
Even after completing almost two weeks of isolation, Sunrisers Hyderabad star wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha has tested positive for the dreaded Coronavirus (Covid-19) once again. Saha, who had contracted the dreaded virus during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, will have to wait another round of testing before getting released from quarantine. The good news for the wicket-keeper batsman is that he has recovered from fever, body ache and cough and has no visible Covid-19 symptoms now.
Earlier, in an interview, Wriddhiman Saha had said he and is family was sacred after he tested positive for Coronavirus during the IPL.
"I was certainly scared. A virus that has brought the Earth to a standstill, after being infected by it, I was bound to feel scared. Everyone in the family was very worried. We reassured them through video calls that there is no reason to be afraid. I am being taken care of enough," Wriddhiman Saha had said in an interview with Anandabazar Patrika.
Wriddhiman Saha is a part of the 20-men Indian squad selected for touring England for a a five-match Test series against hosts and the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, starting from June 18. However Saha will go to England only if he is tests Coronavirus (Covid-19) negative.
BCCI has already made it clear that players selected for India's tour to England must test Coronavirus (Covid-19) negative upon reaching Mumbai as all teh players and support staff will be reportedly enter the bio-bubble in Mumbai before leaving for England.
