IPL 2021: CSK Jumps To Top After RCB Win - Check IPL 14 Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap Leaders

Delhi Capitals registered their third consecutive win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first Super Over Eliminator match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) on Sunday. Batting first, Delhi Capitals scored 159 for 4 wickets. In reply, Hyderabad could only score only 159 runs for loss of 7 wickets.

Hyderabad scored 7 runs while batting in the Super Over. Delhi ultimately won the match by scoring 8 runs off 6 balls.  With this win, Delhi jumped to the second spot in IPL 2021 Points Table. This is Delhi's fourth win this year.  Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, have cemented their place at the top after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday.

IPL Points Table: In IPL 2021, all the teams have played at least five matches so far. Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings are now at the top in the points table. CSK has 8 points from four wins and 1 defeat with a net run rate of +1.612.  Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore have four wins and 1 defeat, but due to the low net run rate, both of them are in second and third place respectively.

IPL 2021 Oragne Cap: Delhi Capitals star opener Shikhar Dhawan currently holds the Orange Cap of IPL 14.  Shikhar has scored 259 runs in 5 matches.  At the same time, Punjab Kings' captain KL Rahul is on second place with 221 runs.  In this list, Faf Du Plessis of Chennai Super Kings is at number three with 214 runs.

IPL 2021 Purple Cap: Royal Challengers Bangalore's Harshal Patel is at the top in the Purple Cap list after taking15 wickets from 5 matches. Avesh Khan of Delhi Capitals with 11 wickets holds the second place.  With 9 wickets each, Rahul Chahar of Mumbai Indians and Chris Morris of Rajasthan Royals are at the third and fourth place, respectively.
