The three-time IPL champion went on to play the 200th match for the three-time Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday. Mahi won the toss against Punjab Kings and decided to bowl first.
One of the most impactful thing in this record is that MS Dhoni has not captained the Chennai Super Kings in just one game out of all the 200 matches. Dhoni was part of CSK's Playing-XI in the Champions League match in 2012, but did not lead the team back then.
