'Team India All The Way': PM Modi, HM Amit Shah Hail India's Dominant Win Over Pakistan In ODI World Cup

Ind vs Pak ODI World Cup: PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended their hearty congratulations over India's victory against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup clash held at Ahmedabad.

Expressing appreciation for the Indian cricket team's outstanding performance against arch-rivals Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended their hearty congratulations. India's victory against Pakistan was not only comprehensive but historic. In the ODI World Cup clash held at Ahmedabad, India outshone Pakistan, emerging triumphant by seven wickets. This marks India's eighth successive victory over Pakistan in World Cup events, a streak dating back to 1992.

Prime Minister Modi, expressing his elation, took to the social media platform 'X' to laud the team's all-round excellence, saying, "Team India all the way! A great win today in Ahmedabad, powered by all-around excellence. Congratulations to the team and best wishes for the matches ahead." The euphoria of the cricketing clash was palpable as the nation rallied behind Team India.

Earlier, while addressing the 141st IOC Session held in Mumbai, he also congratulated 'Team Bharat' for its "historic" win.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah echoed the sentiment and remarked, "Tiranga flying high. A big round of applause for our cricket team for this stupendous victory. The team continues its winning streak against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup. You all have shown how much pride seamless teamwork with a common goal can achieve for our nation. My best wishes on your unrelenting march toward winning the World Cup 2023." 

Notably, Amit Shah also graced the stadium with his family members to witness the thrilling encounter.

The triumph was orchestrated by Indian bowlers, who collaborated effectively to dismiss Pakistan for a modest 191. India then chased down the target with ease, reaching the victory line in just 30.3 overs at the fervent Narendra Modi Stadium. The match showcased the exceptional skills of the Indian team, with notable contributions from several players.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma exhibited a stellar form with a sensational knock of 86 runs off 63 balls. Sharma's batting prowess proved pivotal in steering the Men in Blue towards a convincing win. His partnership with Virat Kohli, which yielded 56 runs off 42 balls, significantly bolstered India's performance.

Shreyas Iyer also played a pivotal role in India's victory, making an unbeaten 53 runs, while KL Rahul provided crucial support by remaining not out with 19 runs to his name.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed two wickets, while Hasan Ali secured one, despite the team's valiant effort.

India's performance in the ODI World Cup continues to shine, with this being their third consecutive victory in the tournament. In contrast, Pakistan, who previously boasted two wins, tasted defeat for the first time in the competition.
