ZIM vs SA: Fit to play Faf du Plessis set to return after 2 months
After a net-practice session before the final match at Paarl cricket ground, South Africa announced the return of the former skipper Faf du Plessis; stating that he was completely fit and desperate to get on the field against Zimbabwe
After defeating Zimbabwe in the first two ODIs of the three-match series already by 2-0, South Africa will now get on the playfield to make a clean sweep against the host. Also, there was good news for South Africa before the third and final one-day on Saturday as their regular captain Faf du Plessis is fully fit and ready to make a comeback.
During a match against Sri Lanka in Kandy, Du Plessis was struck with an injured, due to which he was forced to stay away from cricket for two months. During this time JP Duminy was in charge of the team.

After a net-practice session before the final match at Paarl cricket ground, by a press conference, South Africa announced the return of the former skipper Faf du Plessis; stating that he was completely fit and desperate to get on the field against Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe, who has been undergoing a change of time, made the ground especially for the bowlers, but South Africa defeated them easily in both the matches. In the first ODI where the hosts were defeated by five wickets, the team lost by 120 runs after being all out for 78 in the second one. With the win in the second ODI, South Africa had set a new record for winning the most matches against any one team.
This was the 28th consecutive victory of South Africa against Zimbabwe, breaking Australia's record of 27 consecutive victories against Zimbabwe.
