Indore Water Crisis: Cholera Bacteria Found in Narmada Supply, Several Dead

A shocking revelation has emerged in the Indore contaminated water deaths case. Test reports of the supplied drinking water have confirmed the presence of Vibrio cholerae, the bacteria responsible for cholera, in the Narmada water line of Bhagirathpura area. This toxic water is believed to be the cause of vomiting, diarrhea, and multiple deaths reported from the locality. So far, the death toll remains unclear, with figures ranging from 8 to 14, triggering serious questions on accountability. Local representatives claim complaints were made years ago, but no action was taken. Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has taken a strict view and sought a status report from the state government, which is likely to be presented today during the hearing.
