World Cup 2019: Fans show support for Dhoni, flaunt 'Balidaan Badge' at Oval

A section of Indian fans flaunted the "Balidan Badge" during the Indian vs Australia World Cup clash at Oval on Sunday to show support for India former captain, following International Cricket Council's (ICC) decision to censor Dhoni to sport the Army dagger insignia on his wicket-keeping gloves again in any of the matches of the ICC World Cup 2019.
A fan dressed in the Indian tricolour was seen holding a banner with the badge sketched in brown on top against a black background.
Citing the equipment regulation violation, ICC confirmed that if Dhoni sports the insignia again, he would first be warned and then face financial penalties of 25, 50 and 75 percent of match fees for every transgression.

After Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) under the supervision of the Committee of Administrators (CoA) failed to back Dhoni on the 'insignia controversy', fans and teammates had expressed their immense support for the former skipper, stressing that they will back whatever call he takes with regard to sporting the badge on his keeping gloves.
How the whole issue started:
The BCCI had backed Dhoni after he was spotted wearing the 'Balidaan Badge' on his wicket-keeping gloves and had written to the ICC seeking its permission.
However, ICC responded to the BCCI to confirm the logo displayed by Dhoni is not permitted to be worn on his wicket-keeping gloves at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019, citing that this kind of messages cannot be displayed in any ICC multinational tournament like World cup, T20 World cup or Champion's Trophy.
