With the help of outstanding performances, Suryakumar Yadav has been making headlines for quite some time now. According to ICC rankings, the No 1 T20I batter concluded as the third-highest scorer at the 2022 T20 World Cup as he smashed 239 in six matches at a terrific strike rate of 189.68.
He carried forward his form in the recently passed T20I series against New Zealand. He amassed 124 in two innings, including a brilliant century. He won the 'Player of the Series award.

Australia cricketer Glenn Maxwell highly praised his effort,” I didn't know the game was on. But I later checked the scorecard and sent the picture of that to Finchy and said, 'What is going on here?
