England's Legendary Bowler James Anderson Returns To Training, Shares Video

James Anderson took to Instagram to post a video of himself in which he can be seen practising in the nets.

England cricket team's highest wicket-taker in Test cricket, James Anderson on Tuesday returned to training at Old Trafford in Manchester. A few days back, the England Cricket Board had allowed its cricketers to return back to outdoor training as they prepare for international cricket's return in their nation. England is now the first country to allow its players to star training after being hit by the deadly COVID-19. The veteran English bowler took to Instagram to post a video of himself in which he can be seen practising in the nets. "I've missed this place! Slowly easing through the gears but enjoying being back," James Anderson captioned the video.

Anderson, who is also the highest wicket-taker in Tests, has picked 584 wickets in 151 Tests so far. The lethal speedster currently holds the fourth spot in the list of highest wickets taken in Test cricket. England's all-time leading wicket-taker, Anderson, faced a major blow after he was ruled out of the second and third Test against South Africa after the pace spearhead sustained a rib injury in the first Test match. "We're lucky (in England) that most Test matches are sold out, certainly the first few days, we get big crowds so motivating yourself isn't an issue," Anderson told CNN Sport's Amanda Davies via Instagram Live. "You just get out there in front of a packed house and it's quite easy to get up for a game. I think we might have to lean on each other as players if there's no crowd there, no atmosphere, we hear the sound of leather on willow echoing around the ground rather than the applause," he added.
