New Delhi: When the whole of India is suffering from acute cash crunch as the demonetization of 500 and 1000 bills enters its 11th day, Caribbean batsman and Royal Challengers Bangalore super star Chris Gayle flaunted currency notes in a night club.

Before you start imagining all kinds of situations, let us clear the bubble. Chris Gayle was basically taking part in the mannequin challenge, which has taken the social media by storm. In a mannequin challenge, a person has to pose like a mannequin while others record it.

Popular football player Christiano Ronaldo, singer Adele and reality television star Ellen Degeneres have successfully completed the challenge.

The swashbuckling left hander known for his big hitting and colourful life off the field took on the challenge and posed with currency notes in a nightclub.

Chris Gayle, who is not a part of the West Indies team taking part in the tri-nation series in Zimbabwe, will be back in action during the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League.
