T20 World Cup: Umpire Aleem Dar's 'Great Reflexes' Save Him From Getting Hit Twice - WATCH
T20 World Cup: Pakistan umpire Aleem Dar ducked twice to get saved from getting hit. Take a look at the video below!
T20 WC: Who would imagine staring straight at a powerful straight drive by Kieron Pollard and then ducking it to save your head? Well, if you are an umpire, not only you can imagine it, you can actually be seen ducking at a powerful drive by a strong Windies batsman.
Not many would have the reflexes to not get hit by a powerful drive by Pollard. Fortunately, umpire Aleem Dar is not among these 'many' as he quite cheekily bent down to get saved by a tracer-bullet-like shot. The shot went straight at van der Dussen who took a brave low catch. Pollard was caught out but the joy of taking his catch was so overwhelming that van der Dussen threw the ball straight at the Pakistani umpire. No prizes for guessing that Aleem Dar was saved in this instance as well, as he ducked just as the ball was thrown at him.
This incident took place during the T20 World Cup match between West Indies and South Africa.
