Qosh Tepa T20 Cup 2024: The Qosh Tepa T20 Cup 2024 has come to an end, with Band-E-Amir Region winning the inagural edition of the tournament and Afghanistan's cricket has its own 'Mini IPL' to recruit and nourish the talent for the future, as the Asian nation are no more the underdogs in world cricket, and are rising with a rapid pace. Afghanistan had a memorable ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 India and missed out on the semi finals by a whisker, and the nation will be hoping to carry their good form in the upcoming T20 World Cup in June, to be co-hosted by West Indies and United States of America.

The @Hashmat_50-led BAR beat the Mis-e-Ainak Region by 23 runs in the Grand Finale to win the inaugural edition of the Etisalat Presents Afghan United Bank – #QTNT20Cup2024.

The tournament consisted of 5 teams, and all the matches took place at the Alokozay Kabul International Cricket Ground, bar one match, which was the 7th T20 that took place at the Kandahar Cricket Stadium in Kandahar. The 21 matches took place from May 1 - May 13, and all the matches were live streamed on the FanCode app, as there were no channels to telecast the fixtures in India.
