PSL 2025 Points Table, Most Runs & Most Wickets List After Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars Match

PSL 2025 Points Table: Here’s a look at the updated PSL 2025 points table after the Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars match.

Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) defeated Lahore Qalandars (LQ) by seven wickets in the 14th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) on April 25 (Thursday) at Lahore. After winning the toss, Peshawar Zalmi elected to field first, a decision that proved fruitful as their bowlers put the Lahore batting lineup under significant pressure.

Lahore Qalandars struggled throughout their innings and were eventually bowled out for a modest total of 129 in 19.2 overs. Despite a fighting half-century from Sikandar Raza, who top-scored with 52 runs, the rest of the Lahore batsmen failed to build substantial partnerships. The Peshawar Zalmi bowling attack was disciplined, with Salman Irshad (3/22) and Aamer Jamal (2/28) being the pick of the bowlers.

In response, Peshawar Zalmi chased down the target with relative ease, reaching 133 for the loss of just 3 wickets in 16.4 overs. The opening pair of Saim Ayub (15) and Babar Azam provided a solid start. Despite the early loss of Ayub and Mohammad Haris (5), Babar Azam anchored the innings brilliantly with an unbeaten 56 off 45 balls. He was well-supported by Hussain Talat, who also scored a crucial unbeaten half-century, finishing on 51 off 36 deliveries.

Despite the win, Peshawar Zalmi are still placed beneath Lahore Qalandars in the PSL 2025 points table. While both teams have four points each, a comparatively higher Net Run Rate (NRR) puts LQ above PZ.
