Babar Azam Breaks Records A Plenty To Spearhead Karachi Kings To Maiden PSL Title
Babar Azam, who was declared the Man of the Match for his stellar half ton, became the only player to win the award in two consecutive playoff matches in a single edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Karachi Kings clinched their maiden Pakistan Super League (PSL) title after securing a clinical five wicket win over Lahore Qalandars in the grand finale of PSL 2020 played out on Tuesday evening at the National Stadium in Karachi.
The architect of Karachi Kings first ever PSL title was their batting mainstay Babar Azam who top scored with a fiery 63-run knock to spearhead his team's 135-run chase. Babar stitched a 61-run partnership with Windies wicket-keeper Chadwick Walton to anchor his team's chase with eight balls to spare.
