Noman Ali Hat-Trick: Pakistan spinner Noman Ali became the fifth bowler from the country to bag a Test hat-trick.

Noman Ali Hat-Trick: Pakistan spinner Noman Ali etched his name in the history books as he became the first spin bowler from Pakistan to claim a hat-trick in men’s Test cricket. The 38-year-old achieved the remarkable feat on Day 1 of the ongoing second Pakistan vs West Indies Test in Multan on January 25 (Saturday). Noman dismissed Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach and Kevin Sinclair in consecutive deliveries as hosts dismantled the West Indies batting lineup, reducing them 38-7.
Overall, Noman Ali became the fifth Pakistani bowler to achieve a hat-trick in Test cricket. Prior to Noman, legendary Pakistan bowler Wasim Akram had claimed two Test hat-tricks, while Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Shami and Naseem Shah had also achieved the feat. Notably, since Pakistan’s Test debut in 1952, no spinner from the nation had accomplished this milestone before.
Noman Ali was the first change bowler for Pakistan on Day 1 of the Test and struck early by dismissing West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite in his second over. From there, the West Indies batters faced spin from both ends, as Noman and Sajid Khan bowled in tandem.
Noman dismissed Ali Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach and Kevni Sinclair to complete his hat-trick in the 12th over. Babar Azam took a stunning low catch at gully to ensure Sinclair's edge was caught and Noman completed his hat-trick.
