The Men in Blue had a terrible run in the recently concluded series against West Indies as they lost the T20I series. Following that, wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was excluded from the Asia Cup squad announced by the BCCI. Hayden also commented on Chahal's exclusion and said, “There're some big omissions. Chahal in particular, that leg-spinner is such a superb player and (it) must be tough for the selectors because they've also got another one in Kuldeep (Yadav).... he's a superb player. So, they've gone for that as an option,”.
