Maharaja Trophy: Hubli Tigers defeated Bengaluru Blasters in the third super over in what turned out to be a historic cricketing affair. M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru witnessed history as the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2024 league, which had never had a super over in its entire history witnessed three super overs played in the 17th match which saw Bengaluru Blasters going up against Hubli Tigers.
Mayank Agarwal-led Bengaluru Blasters won the toss and sent the Manish Pandey-led Hubli Tigers in to bat first. With thirties from Mohammed Taha, skipper Pandey and Aneeshwar Gautam, Tigers managed the score of 164-10 in 20 overs.

Coming to the chase, Blasters were in complete control of the game as they required just 6 runs in the final over to win the game.Blasters got a boundary of the first ball of the final over but despite that they could only manage one run and lost two wickets in the remaining balls of the final over, resulting in a tie. LR Kumar bowled the final over for the Tigers, giving away just five runs.

Bengaluru Blasters bs Hubli Tigers Clash Features Three Thrilling Super Overs
First Super Over:
In the first super over, Bengaluru Blasters scored 10 runs, thanks to Aniruddha Joshi's six off the final ball. Left-arm seamer Lavish Kaushal, who had earlier taken a five-wicket haul, was tasked with defending 11 runs for Blasters and conceded exactly 10, leading to chaos on the final ball.
Needing two runs off the final ball, Manish Pandey hit the ball in the air, giving Bengaluru's Lavish Kaushal a chance to secure the win with a catch. However, Lavish dropped the catch but quickly threw the ball to the keeper, limiting Hubli to just one run and resulting in another tie.
Second Super Over:
In the second super over, Hubli Tigers scored only eight runs, thanks to Gnaneshwer Naveen's tight bowling. Despite a boundary on the first ball, Vidwath Kaverappa's performance allowed the scores to remain tied, leading to a third super over.
Third And Final Super Over:
In the third super over, Bengaluru Blasters scored 12 runs, but Hubli Tigers won after Manvanth Kumar's decisive four off the last ball secured the victory, concluding a historic and thrilling T20 match.
