Irani Cup: Suryakumar Yadav Dedicates Heartwarming Post To Sarfaraz Khan For Scoring Century

Sarfaraz Khan has been in brilliant form for the last couple of years. He has been smashing tons of runs in domestic cricket. After an incredible few seasons for Mumbai, he was included as part of the Rest of India team for the Irani Cup 2022 against the Ranji Trophy 2020 champions Saurashtra. The right-hand batter made a century and helped his side make a comeback from a tough situation.

After his heroics with the bat, star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav took to Twitter and wrote a heartwarming wish for Sarfaraz. He wrote,” So so so Proud of you”. The 32-year-old posted a picture of himself enjoying the game from his hotel room. He is currently in Guwahati where the Indian team will lock horns against South Africa in the second T20I on Sunday.

A brilliant bowling show by the Rest of India restricted Saurashtra to just 98 runs. In reply to that, Sarfaraz and Hanuma Vihari had an unbeaten 187-run partnership and they helped the Rest of India put 205/3 on the first day of play.
