The entire city came to a standstill at Marine Drive to greet the Men in Blue before the team proceeded to the Wankhede Stadium for a victory ceremony. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and their teammates participated in an open-top bus parade, navigating through a sea of fans at Marine Drive before arriving at Wankhede Stadium, where thousands of fans, undeterred by the rain, had already gathered at the stadium for victory ceremony and greeted the Indian cricket team to an unforgettable welcome.

During this ceremony, a moment came when all the players, including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, took a lap around Wankhede Stadium while singing 'Maa Tujhe Salaam... Vande Mataram.' It was so moving for fans that they described it as giving them goosebumps, on social media. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video of this moment on their official X account and it went viral instantly.

Team India Dance & Sing With Fans At Wankhede Stadium

At the Wankhede Stadium, the celebration was heartfelt as the players immersed themselves in the atmosphere. Rohit Sharma shared his thoughts, Virat Kohli spoke about India's mission to win the World Cup and the crowd chanted "Hardik, Hardik" in unison.

The celebration turned into a frenzy as the team danced with the fans. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma led the team in a dance to the Bollywood song 'Chak De India,' with everyone joining in. After that Virat Kohli and the team chanted 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' along with the crowd, creating an emotional atmosphere.
