‘Khambe Se Seedha Sheesh Mahal’: Rahul Gandhi Mocks Kejriwal, Dares Him To Drink Yamuna Water — WATCH
Rahul Gandhi slammed Arvind Kejriwal during a poll rally in Delhi, where he challenged him to drink water from the Yamuna and took a jibe at him over 'sheesh mahal'.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday came down heavily at Arvind Kejriwal over not fulfilling promises such as cleaning the Yamuna and ending corruption and challenged him to drink a glass of water from the polluted river. He further took a jibe at the AAP chief as he echoed BJP's 'sheesh mahal' jibe, saying that Kejriwal "came out of nowhere" with a promise of bringing a "new political system, but entered straight into a 'sheesh mahal' after climbing a pole (khambe se seedha sheesh mahal ke andar chale gye).
"A battle was underway between PM Modi and Congress, but Arvind Kejriwal came out of nowhere, and promised to end corruption, spread brotherhood and clean Yamuna. Arvind Kejriwal said that he will bring new political system, will finish corruption. He had promised to clean the water of Delhi in five years, and take a dip in Yamuna. I challenge him to drink a glass of Yamuna water and he will get hospitalised," Rahul Gandhi said, showing a water bottle to the people, which he said was filled with water from the Yamuna.
"Pehle gaadi mei aye chhoti vali sweater pehna seedha khambe pe chadh gaye fir khambe se utre aur seedha sheesh mahal chale gaye (Arvind Kejriwal came in a small Wagon R car, wore a sweater and climbed a pole from where he directly entered into a 'sheesh mahal' which has automatic doors, big TVs, and is worth crores of rupees)" Rahul Gandhi quipped.
The Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha further said that Kejriwal has made "false promises just like PM Modi".

Rahul Gandhi also slammed the Aam Aadmi Party over its team poster, saying that the 'Team Kejriwal' which has nine people does not have anyone from the Dalit, OBC, or Muslim community. Reading out the names on the list, he targeted Kejriwal and his then deputy CM Manish Sisodia over the alleged liquor scam, for which both the leaders were incarcerated.
"In 'team Kejriwal' (poster) there are nine people... no one from the Dalit OBC, or Muslim community is there...they make their team and when there is a riot anywhere, they disappear. It was Rahul Gandhi who came after the Delhi Riots," the Congress leader said.
Rahul Gandhi further said that a battle of ideologies is underway in India, where on one side there is hatred, ego, violence, and BJP, and love, brotherhood, respect, Constitution, and Congress on the other.
"We (Congress) say that the country should function as per the Constitution, which says that every caste, religion and language should be respected, but BJP talks about '400 paar' and abolishing the Constitution. However, Congress will never allow it," the Congress leader said, hitting out at the BJP during the poll rally at Hauz Qazi Chowk in Delhi.

Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal have been targeting each other during election rallies ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls, scheduled to be held on February 5. The AAP supremo had also hit out at the Gandhi family, saying it was surprising how the Gandhi family wasn't arrested in the National Herald case, but he was held in a "fake liquor scam".
