Reports suggest that Google is preparing to introduce a mid-range smartphone powered by the Tensor G4 chipset. Additionally, the device is expected to ship with Android 15 right out of the box, possibly launching before Android 16 rolls out in Q2 2025. The Pixel 9a is also rumoured to feature a 5,100mAh battery, offering a potential upgrade in battery life.

According to leaks, Google may introduce the Pixel 9a as early as March 2025, making it the first time a Pixel A-series phone is launched before the annual Google I/O event in May.
