Rishabh Pant Dismissal On 99: Rishabh Pant suffered a heartbreak on Day 4 of the first Test match between India and New Zealand at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, as the 27-year-old becomes the second Indian wicketkeeper-batsman after Mahendra Singh Dhoni to get dismissed on 99 in Tests.
The left-handed explosive batsman was batting superbly and looked in great touch, but on the 1st ball of the 89th over from Will O'Rourke, he lost his control over the punch shot and chopped it on the stumps, and the home crowd was left stunned.
Inspite of suffering a knock in his knee on Day 2, the Indian cricketer was seen warming up on Day 3 with a bat, and this innings is nothing short of true determination to help out your team in times of crisis.
