IND vs WI, 2nd Test Day 4 Highlights:  With the second Test match between India and West Indies seemingly headed towards a draw, the visitors took massive stride towards a win on a rain-affected Day 4. While the hosts started the Day on 229/5 in their first innings, India took the remaining five wickets in 7.4 overs before batting on a good pace led by superb quickfire half-centuries from Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan to end the day's play as the favourites to win if the rain does not spoil the show on the final day.

Mohammed Siraj was the wrecker-in-chief for India and helped the visitors wrap up the tail quickly finishing with figures of 5/60. Mukesh Kumar picked 2 wickets in his maiden innings while Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin picked three wickets between themselves. In India's second innings which lasted just 24 overs before the tourists decided to declare their innings to try and push for a win, Rohit smashed the fastest half-century of his career eventually getting out on 57 off 44.

Rohit's Mumbai Indians' teammate and opening partner Ishan Kishan, playing his second Test, also raced to his maiden fifty in Test matches scoring an unbeaten 52 off 34. There were contributions from Yashasvi Jaiswal (38 off 30) and  Shubman Gill (29* off 37) in India's brief stint with the bat on Day 4 before West Indies were asked to come out again.

With the ball this time, it was Ravichandran Ashwin who saclped the two wickets to fall on the day, making India the favourites to win the second Test should rain not playspoilsport on the final day. The match will start early with potentially 98 overs possible on Day 5 and with 8 wickets in hand, West Indies will have to bat out of their skins to pull off a draw. Among the Windies wickets to fall in the second innings of the penultimate test was their captain Kraigg Brathwaite who batted 235 balls for his 75 in the first innings and debutant Kirk McKenzie.
