IND vs SA: Du Plessis's India Arrival Gets Delayed Due To Major Goof Up By British Airways

Agitated Du Plessis took to the micro-blogging site and slammed the airlines, terming the experience ‘one of his worsts’

South Africa Test captain Faf du Plessis has left for India to join his team for the upcoming 3-match Test series but his arrival got delayed due to a major goof-up by the British Airways. He was scheduled to board the connecting flight to India from Dubai. But unfortunately, his travel to Dubai was delayed by four hours which faltered the rest of his journey. Agitated over the issue, Du Plessis took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Finally on a plane to Dubai after a 4-hour delay. Now I'm gonna miss my flight to India, next flight is only 10 hours later.” Here’s the post: That wasn’t just the end of his troubles. After landing in Dubai, the South African skipper discovered that his cricket kit hadn't arrived which turned him more furious. Once again he took to the micro-blogging site and slammed the airlines, terming the experience ‘one of his worsts’. Here’s the post: Talking about the series, hosts India are leading the ongoing T20I series 1-0 as they defeated the Proteas in the Mohali encounter by 7 wickets. The third and the final match is scheduled to be played in Bengaluru on Sunday. The players reached the Garden City on Thursday and some of the players hit the ground to fine-tune their skills under the watchful eyes of head coach Ravi Shastri.
