Ravi Ashwin World Record: Ravichandran AShwin adds yet another record to his name, as the legendary Indian all-rounder has now gone level with Muttiah Muralitharan for the world record of most Player of the Series awards in Tests, as both cricketers have now 11 awards to their name.

What makes this feat even more astonishing is the fact that the right arm off-spinner has attained the feat in 39 Test series, compared to 60 of the Sri Lanka legend. Ravichandran Ashwin bagged 11 wickets and scored one century throughout the two-match series, as India won the Test series 2-0.

"Very glad that I have managed to perform for the team. Lot of bowlers contributed today. Massive win for us looking at the WTC points table. When we bowled them out yesterday, Rohit was very keen and said that we needed almost 80 overs to bowl at them and told us that we will go hard straightaway and went out and hit his first ball for six, everyone follows that.
