WTC 2023-25: India maintain their dominance in the World Test Championship as the Rohit Sharma-led side have won the 2nd Test by 7 wickets, and with that, have now completed 2-0 series whitewash of Bangladesh. The win now solidifies India'ss position at the summit of the WTC 2023-25 points table with 98 points and a points percentage of 74.24, followed by Australia with 90 points and a points percentage of 62.50 in 12 matches.

Bangladesh's slimmer hopes of making into the WTC 2025 Final in the aftermath of historic 2-0 win against Pakistan are now over, as the Najmul Hosain Shanto-led side now have 4 Test matches remaining in their current cycle (two-each against South Africa and West Indies) and even if they win all four matches, they will still, fall short by a significant margin.
The final of the World Test Championship 2025 will be held at the home of cricket — Lord's Cricket Ground in London, and by the looks of it, India and Australia will once again make into the final.
Sri Lanka, England, South Africa, and New Zealand have an outside chance and it will take something special from these four sides to dethrone either of India or Australia from the Top 2.
India will now focus on their pre-scheduled three T20I's against Bangladesh before a home Test series against New Zealand, wheras, Sri Lanka and South Africa will play each other in a two-match Test series in Late November.
England will play Pakistan away for a three-match Test series, and the above-mentioned series will decide their fate in the points table after the conclusion of their respective series.
