Kane Williamson-led New Zealand recently finished as the runners-up in the recently concluded ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. They lost to England on the basis of boundary countback rule as both 50-over action and super over ended up in a tie.
Adjudged as the player of the tournament, Williamson finished WC campaign with 578 runs and received the award from batting legend Sachin Tendulkar as he became the captain with most number of runs in a single World Cup.
