'If You Want To Send Salaami..': Shadab Khan's Cheeky Post After Getting Married To Saqlain Mushtaq's Daughter Goes Viral
Shadab is not the only Pakistani cricketer who tied the knot recently. Haris Rauf got married last month while Shan Masood got hitched earlier in the week.
Pakistan's star all-rounder Shadab Khan informed his fans about his marriage on Monday night through a social media post. While he did not share any pictures from his wedding ceremony, highlighting that his wife wanted to remain out of public life, his cheeky request to fans on how they can still send their Salaamis has gone viral on social media.
Shadad has been one of the more consistent players in the Pakistani cricketing setup. He was one of the players whose form was crucial in the team reaching the finals of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup last year. However, he currently remains sidelined as he recovers from an injury.
And now during a forced break out from cricketing action, the 24-year-old tied the knot with the daughter of ex-Pakistan off-spinner turned coach Saqlain Mushtaq. Taking to Twitter, Shadab wrote: "Alhamdulilah today was my Nikkah. It is a big day in my life and start of a new chapter. Please respect my choices and those my my wife’s and our families. Prayers and love for all."

"However, if you want to send salami, I will send an account number," he jokingly added.
Soon after the official announcement, Shadab's national teammates started congratulating him by commenting on the post. Several of them had a cheeky response to his tweet. One that grabbed the attention of the netizens was Imam-ul-Haq's comment which read: "Many congratulations Shaddy. Worried for Bhabhi though, Allah Pak unko himmat dein. (May Allah give her strength)"
Talking about Shadab's cricketing comeback, he is expected to be back on the field soon. The ace all-rounder will lead Islamabad United in the forthcoming season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) which is set to commence on February 13. Islamabad though will begin their campaign on February 16 against the Karachi Kings at the National Stadium in Karachi.
