Hazlewood Confident Of Continuing Good Work With Ball

Aussie in-form speedster Josh Hazlewood is confident of bowling well in the remaining two Ashes assignments

Australia's pace spearhead Josh Hazlewood, who had an impressive outing in Headingley Test with a career-best match haul of 9-115, is confident of bowling well in the remaining two Ashes assignments. Hazlewood was out of the first Test due to a back injury which Australia won before returning to the squad in Lord's. "The body's really good," Hazlewood was quoted as saying by www.cricket.com.au. "I felt a lot better at Headingley than Lord's, just getting those miles into the legs in that first Test (back)," he added. "I can't see why not unless we bowl a mountain of overs in the next game, but the body's feeling really," Hazlewood said when asked about the workload pacers need to take in such a long five-day series. On his bowling, he said: "It certainly feels like I'm bowling well. Ever since I bowled at Worcester a few weeks back, I took it into Lord's and into Headingley." The likes of Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and James Pattinson failed to get rid of Stokes who went berserk as he played an epic unbeaten knock of 135, which helped England snatch victory from the jaws of defeat at Headingley to level the five-match series 1-1. In the fourth Test starting September 4, Australia will welcome back their key batsman Steve Smith who could not take part in third match in Leeds after being ruled out because of delayed concussion.
