Jasprit Bumrah Player Of The Tournament In T20 World Cup 2024

Notably, Jasprit Bumrah was adjudged the Player Of The Tournament in India's victorious T20 World Cup 2024 campaign. The right-arm speedster delivered every time the team looked up to him and finished with 15 wickets from 8 matches, averaging 8.27 and a scarcely believable economy of 4.17.

Bumrah was handed a rest for the Sri Lanka tour and is likely to be back in action for the Bangladesh Tests although there have been a few reports which suggest that he could be rested for that as well considering India set to play a lot of Test cricket moving forward where he will be needed to bowl long spells.
