Eng vs WI, 3rd Test, Day 1: Bowlers Put Windies On Top, Restrict England To 66/2 At Lunch
What helped the Windies bowlers most was the favourable fast bowling conditions at the Old Trafford as they were getting good bounce and movement from the pitch.
Lethal bowling from West Indies bowlers restricted England to 66/2 at Lunch in the third and final Test of the ongoing series at the Old Trafford. While Kemar Roach managed a first-over strike to take out opener Sibley, a brilliant throw from Roston Chase ended England skipper Joe Root's innings.
Windies won the toss and decided to field first. For England, Dom Sibley and Rory Burns came out in the middle as openers.
The tourists bagged an early wicket in the day as paceman Kemar Roach struck in his very first over to give his team a fantastic start. Roach trapped Sibley (o) in front of the wickets for an LBW. After the first five overs, England were five for the loss of one wicket.

After an early blow, Burns and Root batted steadily to help their team reach 21/1 at drinks. The visitors got their 'big bonus' in the 22nd over as a brilliant fielding effort from Roston Chase resulted in Joe Root's (17 runs off 59 balls) run out.
The English skipper had been solid all through the Test series but today he failed to deliver as he seemed vulnerable. Ben Stokes was the next man to the crease and England were 63/2 after first 26 overs.
