To celebrate this memorable achievement, the left-hander batter added his unique touch by performing a step popularised in a song of an Indian movie titled 'Pushpa: The Rise' featuring Allu Arjun.
After completing his century, Warner, known for his fondness for Indian films and music, delighted the crowd with his special celebration. He did his signature jump before mimicking the iconic 'Pushpa' dance step, a gesture he has frequently displayed on the field and in videos on his social media. Warner made his way back to the dressing room after scoring 104 runs, a composed innings featuring 11 fours and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 111.83.

Meanwhile, Warner joined the elite company of Sachin Tendulkar in the list of most centuries scored in ODI World Cup history. This marked Warner's sixth century in the 50-over tournament, equalling the legendary Indian batsman. He has now surpassed the century tally of retired cricketers like Ricky Ponting and Sri Lankan great Kumar Sangakkara, both of whom have five World Cup centuries to their credit.

As far as the match between Australia and Netherlands is concerned, Steve Smith also rediscovered his form after a series of low scores. He achieved his first fifty of the tournament, contributing 71 runs from 68 balls, including nine fours and a six. Marnus Labuschagne also played a good innings, scoring 62 runs off 47 balls. However, it was Glenn Maxwell who stole the limelight with his breathtaking knock of 106 from just 44 balls. Maxwell set a new record for the fastest century in the history of the ODI World Cup, reaching the milestone in a mere 40 balls. His extraordinary performance helped Australia amass a massive total of 399/8 in their allotted 50 overs, The Aussies then bowled out the Dutch for 90 riding on Adam Zampa's 4/8 to secure largest-ever World Cup win by 309 runs.
