As India and Australia are set to go up against each other in the BGT 2024-25 opener at Perth, here’s a look at some of the stats for the Optus Stadium and Perth as a Test venue in general.

Optus Stadium Test Stats: India are set to go up against Australia for the first Test match of the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) at the Optus Stadium in Perth from November 22 onwards. Optus Stadium, also known as Perth Stadium, is renowned for assisting fast bowlers with plenty of bounce on offer in the pitches. The stadium, which debuted in 2018, has only hosted four Test matches so far.

Australia have won all four Test matches played at the venue, while India played just one Test at the venue in 2018, losing in their sole encounter during that 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
