The hype for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction is building as the event, set to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25, draws near. Out of the 1,574 players who registered for the auction, the BCCI has shortlisted 574 players who will go under the hammer over the two-day event. At last year’s auction, two Australian players, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins, broke all-time records by becoming the two most expensive players in the tournament's history.

The Aussies are set to be major attractions in this year's auction as well, as the reigning ODI World Champions are renowned for boasting top talent. 37 Australian cricketers are set to go under the hammer in the event at Jeddah.
