AUSW Vs ENGW: Australia Women continue their juggernaut in ODI cricket, as they thump England Women by 82 runs in the 3rd ODI. With the win, the reigining ODI World champions retain the Women's Ashes ODI series, as their 'usual' dominance seem to be a hard nut to crack for their bitter-rivals.

Australia Women, inspite of a troubled start, managed to cross the 300-run mark, as few records tumbled and history books were rewritten, thanks to an astonishing ton from Ashleigh Gardner, followed by Georgia Wareham's blistering unbeaten 38 off 12 deliveries.

In reply, England Women failed to get off to a strong start, as they lost two wickets in quick succession. However, the veteran pair of Tammy Beaumont and Nat Sciver-Brunt took the matter into their own hands, and in their quest to save the drowning boat, the duo stitched a vital partnership of 89, before their resilience was brough to an end by Georgia Wareham, as she dismissed Tammy Beaumont by cleaning her all-ends-up.

The dismissal marked the collapse of England Women's batting order, as the lower-order batters yet again failed to fire all cylinders up, when the side needed them the most, and Australia Women opened the floodgates of wickets, thereby, bundling Heather Kinght's side for merely 222 runs.

Here's What Both Captains Said During Post-Match Presentation Ceremony

Alyssa Healy (Australia Women Captain):

"Yeah it was good. I thought all-around, we were quite good. We didn't start well but with the depth around, we did well. It was a decent batting wicket and we knew we had to bowl well."

Heather Knight (England Women Captain):

"They played really nicely. We bowled well upfront to keep them under pressure but they built a solid partnership. A couple of chances went down and it was frustrating. We did well in the chase but lost wickets and the required run rate went up. We will learn from it and onto the next one."

"We went to the options really well. Tammy was good at the top of the order. I feel the wickets cost us. You want big partnerships in these chases and we couldn't get them."
