Actor Romit Raaj, who portrays Rohit Poddar in the popular television drama 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', is all set to exit the show. His character will soon meet a tragic end, adding an unexpected turn to Rajan Shahi’s long-running series.

In a recent interview, Romit opened up about his departure, revealing that he was aware of his character’s short-lived arc from the beginning. Speaking to Zoom, he shared, “My Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai journey has been closest to my heart. I loved each scene so much. Every dialogue was spoken from the heart. I knew it was going to be a short journey, and I cherished every moment. I am eternally grateful to Rajan Sir for such an amazing opportunity to entertain my fans and well-wishers. Big thank you to YRKKH fans for loving me so much and making this journey so special. I am looking forward to new beginnings.”

The show is produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of Directors Kut Productions.
