The Asian Cricket Council is all prepared to host the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2023, commencing on December 8 (Friday). All matches of the tournament will take place at three venues in Dubai: ICC Academy Oval-1, ICC Academy Oval-2, and Dubai International Cricket Stadium. In the ACC Men's Under-19 Premier Cup held in October 2023, Nepal, UAE, and Japan emerged as the top three teams, securing their spots in the main event. Additionally, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, as full member teams, are participating in the tournament.

Group A includes Afghanistan, India, Nepal, and Pakistan, while Group B comprises Bangladesh, Japan, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.

The championship's final is slated for December 17 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Naseer Khan will lead the Afghanistan U19 side, Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby will captain the Bangladesh U19 team, and Uday Saharan will helm the India U19 squad. Koji Hardgrave-Abe will be at the helm for Japan U19, while Nepal U19 will be captained by Dev Khanal. Pakistan U19 will be led by Saad Baig, and Sri Lanka U19 will have Sineth Jayawardene as their captain. The UAE U19 team will be under the leadership of Aayan Afzal Khan.
