According to the complaint, the team travelled to Kolkata on February 27 from New Delhi through Duranto Express. Before registering the case, police got recorded her statement before a Magistrate. "Malik was arrested on Monday from Haryana's Sonipat where he lives and runs a boxing coaching centre," said Singh. He has been booked under Sections 354-A (teasing) and 376 (rape) of the IPC, the officer said. Malik is a native of Lalhedi Kalan in Sonipat district. He is married and has two children.
