After Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja Faces Heat On Twitter For Flaunting Caste

Ravindra Jadeja is facing the heat for his tweet where he called himself a 'proud Rajput boy'.

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina had faced severe backlash for his controversial statement while commentating during the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TPL). The former star middle-order batsman had said that he is a Brahmin and that is why he did not face much difficulty in adopting the culture of Chennai.  Raina was trolled a lot on social media regarding this.

After Raina, his Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate Ravindra Jadeja has made a similar remark on twitter, after which some riled up fans are fiercely trolling the Indian all-rounder on social media.

Ravindra Jadeja is facing the heat for his tweet where he called himself a 'proud Rajput boy'.

Ravindra Jadeja wrote on Twitter, "#RAJPUTBOY FOREVER, Jai Hind."

The tweet by Jadeja has not been liked by the fans at all, as some replied in the comment section that they did not expect such tweet from Jadeja. Fans said that bringing caste into the sport like this is not at all right.

Jadeja is currently in England. India has to play a five-match Test series against England from August 4. Before the Test series, a three-day practice match was played between India and County Select XI. The practice match ended in a draw, but Ravindra Jadeja performed brilliantly with the bat in this match as he scored 75 and 51 runs in both the innings, respectively.

INDS playing XI: Rohit Sharma (c), Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, KL Rahul (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj
