Enchanted by Mohini's beauty, he agreed to dance. While dancing, Vishnu placed Bhaskmasur’s hand on his own head, causing Bhaskmasur to turn to ashes. Thus, the end of Bhaskmasur came through Lord Vishnu's Mohini avatar.
