The dancers, usually in a traditional attire, hold a dhanuchi or earthen pot filled with fragnant incense in their hands and sway gracefully to the sounds of the dhak drum.

Why Devotees Do Dhanuchi Dance

The dancers hold a dhanuchi, which contains coconut shells and aromatic incense which are burned and swayed rhythmically to the beats of the traditional drums.
