According to the experts, the five different festivals of Diwali are celebrated with great fervour over five days. On the third day, the main day of Diwali, people from all walks of life, including householders, traders, and those engaged in spiritual practices, perform rituals to worship Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, and Lord Kubera.

Timing And Tithi For The Festival:

Diwali rituals take place during the Pradosh Kaal on the Amavasya Tithi, where Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, and Lord Kubera are worshipped.

On November 1, the auspicious time for rituals after sunset lasts only 20 minutes, with the muhurat ending at 5:13 PM. In contrast, the more favourable Sthir Lagna muhurat in the Taurus zodiac occurs on October 31, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. During this time, worshipping Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, and Lord Kubera is of special importance.

Additionally, the Sthir Lagna of Leo during midnight on October 31 is considered the most auspicious time for sages, saints, and tantriks (those engaged in occult practices) to perform their rituals.

Special Impact on Certain Zodiac Signs

The festival would have a particularly positive effect on people belonging to the Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Aries zodiac signs. Goddess Lakshmi's blessings will be especially strong for them, leading to prosperity and success. Chanting Mahalakshmi mantras during the Sthir Lagna, is considered to auspicious and people may receive the goddess's blessings.

This year, Diwali is falling under an especially auspicious muhurat, which is expected to bring great prosperity and joy to the entire nation. It is believed that the festival will foster peace and lead to progress across India.
