TN BJP staging a protest at Andhiyur

Tamil Nadu BJP staged a protest against the hike in the price of milk, electricity tariff and property tax at Andhiyur in Erode district on Tuesday.

Aavin recently hiked the price of premium milk to 25% after increasing the milk procurement prices

Talking about the hike, Annamalai said that the hike in milk prices is an attempt to ensure a smooth passage for other dairy companies into Tamil Nadu

BJP members also held similar protests in other parts of the state demanding to rollback the price hike

After the protest, Annamalai also met the people of a tribal hamlet in Tamaraikarai of Erode and had lunch with them
