Virat Kohli missed the entire IND vs ENG Test series due to the birth of his son Akaay Kohli.

As per reports, Virat Kohli is still in the United Kingdom with his wife Anushka Sharma, daughter Vamika and newborn son.

Virat Kohli is anticipated to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) camp next week for a public appearance during the RCB Unbox Event scheduled for March 19 in Bengaluru.

Speculations arose regarding whether Virat would choose to skip a few IPL matches. However, he is unlikely to do so, as participating in the IPL is crucial for his eligibility for the T20 World Cup 2024.

"As far as we know, he will play IPL. But when is Virat joining squad is up to him and his franchise. We haven’t heard from him as he is on a break. For sure, IPL will play a massive role in selection of all players," a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.

The anticipation for Virat Kohli's return to the cricketing field is palpable, especially as RCB is set to clash with CSK in the IPL 2024 season opener on March 24.
