As of October, 538 confirmed cases of the measles had been registered in Maharashtra, according to latest statistics. Additionally, the number of measles cases has grown in Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, and Kerala.(Source: PTI)

The campaign got off to a sluggish start on Thursday, when 1,142 kids in the 9-to-5-year-old age range received an extra dosage, while 20 kids in the 6 to 9-month age range received no treatment at all. The figures rose to 3,208 and 109, respectively, on Friday. The figures were 3,064 and 55, respectively, on Saturday.(Source: PTI)
