An elderly woman was seen being carried by IAF officers in a wheelchair. Earlier, on Sunday, External Affairs Minister (EAM) Jaishankar said that nearly 2300 evacuee Indians have reached India. The Union Minister tweeted,

The number of evacuees that reached India touched the 2300 mark on the 8th flight. After that, three more flights carried 229, 288 and 135 passengers respectively, taking the number of evacuees to more than 2500.
