BMW has finally launched its most awaited sports bike, the G 310 RR in India with a starting price of Rs 2.85 lakh. The G 310 RR Style meanwhile is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh.(Source: ABP)

The new BMW G 310 RR has been launched in two colors – The standard Black storm metallic paintwork and the other option being the Style Sport in Light White Uni, Racing Blue Metallic and Racing Red Uni colors. With this the G 310 range with R - a roadster, GS – an adventure bike and now G 310 is added as a racing sports bike.(Source: ABP)

The bike gets full-led headlights, a large transparent visor and pure-black handlebars plus a 5-inch TFT instrument console . Elsewhere, there are standard gold upside-down fork, aluminum swingarm, handlebars with controls, standard Michelin Pilot Street radial tyres.(Source: ABP)

In terms of its dynamics it gets a water-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke 313-cc engine with 34hp and 27Nm. It does 0 – 60 km/hr in 2.9 seconds and it has a 6-speed gearbox. Four modes as standard - Track, Urban, Rain and Sport.(Source: ABP)

The Track mode is focussed from acceleration to braking where the ABS is adjusted for late braking into bends. Urban mode has the ABS and throttle response geared towards urban traffic. Rain mode is paired with Ride by Wire and the ABS is sensitive to wet roads more.(Source: ABP)
