US: 1 Dead, Several Injured In Shooting Inside Atlanta Building, Says Report
At least one person died and several were injured after a gunman opened fire inside a building in Atlanta, US, said police.
At least one person was killed and multiple people were injured in a shooting in Atlanta, US, reported news website CBS. According to the Atlanta Police Department, the incident took place in of 1110 W Peachtree Stret NW. Three of the injured have been taken to a hospital and the cops are investigating the situation in the Georgia capital. The police asked people to take shelter, or stay out of the area.
"Anyone in the area is asked to secure their building and shelter in place. Anyone not in the area is asked to stay away," the police said. Police said no shot was fired after the initial incident and that they are so far aware of four victims.
In an update, the APD said: "We are working an active shooter situation inside a building on West. Peachtree St, between 12th St and 13th St. We are aware of multiple people injured. No suspect is in custody."
Three have been transported to the hospital for treatment and a fourth has been pronounced deceased on scene. Officers are actively searching for the suspect and any other victims. (2/3)

According to US news outlet CNN, several fire trucks, an armoured police vehicle and cops from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office have rushed to the scene of the crime. According to CNN, the police said that the suspect has been identified, but is on the run. The cops have also issued a lookout alert for the suspect. "Anyone with any information on this person's whereabouts is asked to call 911. The suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached," the police said.
