Post-Poll Violence In West Bengal Reminiscent Of Partition Days: JP Nadda Over Killings Of BJP Workers

West Bengal Polls 2021: BJP national president JP Nadda said that he had never seen such intolerance after results of a poll in independent India.

BJP national president JP Nadda, who arrived in Kolkata on Tuesday to meet the families of violence-affected BJP workers and supporters in West Bengal, launched a sharp attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC). He said that he had never seen such intolerance after results of a poll in independent India.

"The incidents which we saw after the results of the West Bengal poll shock us and make us worried. I had heard of such incidents during India's partition. We had never seen such intolerance after the results of a poll, in independent India," he said.
