New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi visited Iran last month. Deals were signed between the countries. Now, a message is going viral that says PM Modi paid back Iran’s debt. Here is the reality of the viral post. Despite lower value of oil in international market, masses have to shell out more for oil. The message says India is under debt of money it was not able to pay for oil procured in the past. We take 5 lakh barrels per day from Iran and we owed Iran 43 thousand crore rupees as oil bill.
